'Tis The Season

   Here we go again with Cold and Flu season!
So you want to bolster your immune system,
 because they will only
affect you if your immunity is low.
Although sometimes there
may be an emotional
connection, ask yourself
and 'see' what might
you be needing with
this 'timeout'?
Here are a couple of tools and recipes
 to support you and aid you if you
do catch whatever is floating around.
And never under estimate the value of water to flush out your body.

     Breathing Onion
So simple and yet so effective
Just take a slice of onion
chop it up and
place it by your bed
to breath all night long.
 Magical for any kind of congestion!

          Bathe Away Muscle Aches
   A soak in a warm tub can go a
long way toward relaxing muscle
aches that accompany colds or flu.
  Add essential oil of
    Oregano
    Marjoram
    Thyme
    Peppermint
  Total of 6-8 drops all together
(combined)
keep away from your eyes.

                     Cold and Flu tea

                     1 part Peppermint 
                     1 part Yarrow 
                     1 part elderflowers


                                       Make into tea, you will want a pot full. 
                                       Taken as soon as the symptoms start,                
                                        It will help the body re-establish balance quickly.
