There are many types of "journaling" to use.

The journaling I want to encourage you to pick up is
open and exploratory.
The journaling that plays with the edges of your awareness, that expands your thoughts
and teases your emotions.

You can journal "about" anything, and you can express yourself anyway that is comfortable for you,
after all it is yours.
.

Choose a journal that will inspire you to use, one that you want to pick up and fill the pages with your life, values, thoughts, feelings, and adventures in fancy.

Find "your time" the time during the day which suits you the best to write, draw, doodle, paste and just explore you and what matters to you.

Journaling can be a way to get your thoughts out of your head to look at them and decide what is supportive, valid, or valuable.
Or just brain dump and leave it, not feeling the need any longer to mull it over, just record it and let it go.

You can use journaling to tune into your feelings...about anything.
If your feelings were music, what were you listening to today?

It is a beautiful place to explore ideas and imaginings.
What dragon did you conquer today?
What tree did you climb? and what did you see?
What river was crossed? and what did it feel like?

Journaling is a tool to get you over life's bumps, or celebrates it's joys.
What did your roller coaster ride look or feel like today?

Dabble and have fun with those wondrous pages!
They are a way to connect to you in a deep and meaningful way.

We can't always control what happens to us but,
we can control how we react to what happens to us.
Use your journal to help you act/react in ways that feel good.

Let your journal be a way to open up new avenues in interpreting your world.
