Are you willing to try coffee and tea beauty aids?

Coffee and tea are full of antioxidants and can prevent premature ageing and reduce inflammation.
Caffeine is a constrictor, which makes it useful in swellings.
Think of placing cold tea bags on your eye lids to
reduce puffy eyes, insect bites, and sunburns.
Try using coffee and tea in scrubs that will help
 remove dead cells to toners
                                                                 that will tighten facial skin.

Here are a few recipes to try...

Coffee Facial Mask

1/4 cup finely (powder) ground fresh coffee beans
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup whole milk

Mix together,
Spread all over your face and neck.
Leave on on for 15 min, then rinse off.

The milk and coffee contain natural occurring acids that help rid your skin of surface debris
and dead skin cells while the cocoa conditions and soothes your complexion.

Coffee body scrub

1 cup ground coffee
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sea salt
1/2 cup almond oil
Mix dry ingredients then add oil
Hop into the tub and rub all over your body,
be careful though the oil does make for slippery ground.
Rinse

Both the caffeine, which helps circulation,
and the defoliants in this recipe help reduce cellulite.
(or maybe it is just the rubbing, scrubbing of the skin)

Tea Foot Soak

2 cups boil water
2 black tea bags
2 quarts cool water
Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for at least 15 minutes.
Fill a large enough pan to put your feet in with the cool water and add the tea.
(Depending on if you want this warm or cool)

Bathing your feet in black tea actually helps reduce foot odor. the tannic acid in the tea changes the pH of the skin making it unfriendly to odor causing bacteria.

Green Tea Toner

1/2 cup boiling water
1 green tea bag or 1 tsp. loose leaf
Steep for a few minutes
strain and pour into a clean bottle, let cool.
Apply to your face with a cotton ball, do not rinse.
green tea is good for all skin types, and provides a wealth of antioxidants.

I love using what I have around my house, and
avoiding expensive chemical laden commercial products.
With the added benefit of
not tested on animals.
